He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Giles, Sr. and Lucille Beckwith Giles; and his grandparents, Richard, Anna Giles, Russell and Edith Beckwith.
He is survived by: his sisters, Anne Kondrlik (Randy) of Corry, Edie Leute (John) of Canadohta Lake and Sally Devereaux (Danny) of Erie; and his cousins, Skip and Sue Sturdevant. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Per Richard's request, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to Union City United Methodist Church, 42 E. High Street, Union City, Pennsylvania 16438.
