She was predeceased by: her spouse Sgt. Emery Coates of Spartansburg; her parents, Ai O. Yoas and Elizabeth Best Yoas; and her son-in-law George Andersen. She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Coates of Virginia and Darlene Andersen of Minnesota; her grandchildren, Mark Andersen and Elizabeth Christianson (Doug); and her great grandchild Noah Christianson.
