The passing of Judith May Brandt of Union City, Pennsylvania, born in Cranesville, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Matthias and Laura V. Matthias (Taylor); her husband Bruce Barney; and her son Jeffrey Barney. She is survived by: her son Ricky P. Brandt (Marie) of Erie; her sisters, Jane Fell (William) of Ashville and Georgia Guriel of Mill Village; her grandchildren, Eric Brandt and Ryan Holden; and her great grandchildren, Ashton, Caitlyn and Olivia. She is also survived by her two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (62 S Main St, Union City, PA 16438). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Judy's name to the Union City Volunteer Fire Department, 50 Second Avenue, Union City, PA. 16438 and/or the LECOM VNA of Erie County, 2253 W Grandview Blvd, Erie, PA 16506.
