With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Kerstetter of Union City, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2021 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Kerstetter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Kerstetter and Ethel Kerstetter; his wife Barbara; his daughters, Margaret and Penelope; and his sister Catherine Ann Hoehn.

He is survived by: his nephews, Kenny "Butch" and Jimmy; his niece Julie Kerstetter; his daughter Cynthia Ellison of Florida; his siblings, Donna Mae Donahue of Edinboro, Linda Hammond (Randi) of Edinboro, Theresa Kerstetter of Arizona, Richard (Ruth) of Edinboro, Kenneth (Jackie) of New York and Gary (Kari) of Waterford; and his stepson Jeffrey Ellison of Erie. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and three grandchildren.
