He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Goodwill and Alice Goodwill (VanGuilder); his siblings, Winifred Johnson (Hazel Drake) and Howard "Woody" Goodwill; and his great grandchild Lisa Troutman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hoag; his children, Eric Goodwill of Erie and Lorrie Troutman (Bob) of Union City; his grandchildren, Nichole Weisner (Steven) of Erie, Amy Witherow (Shaun) of Butler and Aaron Troutman (Karissa) of Union City; his great grandchildren, Kourtnie Nitschke, Madisyn Schaefer, Landin Weisner, Jalynn Weisner, Mylei Schaefer, Alex Witherow, Kylee Troutman, Abby Anthony and Elliette Witherow; and his great great grandchild Kennley Kerstetter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
