He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl G. Rockwood and Marjorie Middleton Rockwood; his brother David Rockwood; and his close friend Merlin Hawley. He is survived by: his wife Martha S. Steen; his children, Heidi M. Rockwood of Union City and Merlin D. Rockwood of Cambridge Springs; and his grandchildren, Jordan Rockwood (Megan Brendlinger) of Edinboro, Caitlynn Rockwood of Edinboro and Meghan Rockwood of Edinboro.
