He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Nester Greathouse and Claudious May Bromley Greathouse; his son Daniel Greathouse, Jr.; and his brothers, Floyd Herbert Greathouse, Garry Greathouse and Larry Greathouse.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Greathouse of Union City; his children, Brandy Dorfmeister (Seth) of Fairview, Chrystal Miller (Wesley) of Centerville and Travis Greathouse (Cydnee) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Kirsten Greathouse (Malik Mosley), Brycen Dorfmeister, Isabella Dorfmeister and Garrett Miller; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Sienna, Sariya and Malakai Mosley; his siblings, Eleanor Burger (Ralph) of Cambridge Springs, Darlene Snyder (Audie, Sr.) of Cambridge Springs and Jeffrey Greathouse, Sr. of Centerville; and his nephew Kevin Greathouse of Centerville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Daniel's memory to Saint Jude Children's Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) or a memorial tree may be donated to be planted on Daniel's land.
