He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doug Sampson and Jane O'Dell Opalinski Sampson; his wife Janet L. Sampson of Union City; his children, Janney Spaich of Union City and Merrill Sampson (Christina) of Titusville; his grandchildren, Mindy, Richard, Lilly, Rhonda, Charles, Ashley and Dougles; his great grandchildren, Noah, Aurora and Eleana; his siblings, Angel Morton (John) of Missouri, Ronnie Sampson (Sandy) of Union City, Joey Sampson (Sheryl) of Michigan and John Sampson (Trudy) of Meadville; his daughter Janet Anderson; and his brother Jimmy Sampson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
