With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Blakeslee of Union City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Blakeslee to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. Butler and Fern L. Benson Butler; her husband Gerald "Bill" Blakeslee; and her brother Richard Butler. She is survived by: her children, Kristy Blakeslee of Union City, Kevin Blakeslee (Roberta) of Union City, Blain Blakeslee (Tina) of Union City and Blair Blakeslee (Karin) of Edinboro; and her siblings, Virginia Henry of Florida and Harold Butler (Elsa May) of Union City. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private for immediate family with a public Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Tutu's memory to Edinboro Camp and Retreat Center, 12940 Fry Road, Edinboro, Pennsylvania 16412.

“My deepest sympathy to all of the family. Carolyn was one of a kind....fun loving, kind, she just had a way about her. We were blessed with her at Lincolnville Baptist Church for many years. The cantatas she organized and staged were phenomenal and I was fortunate enough to be a part of several. She'll be greatly missed but Heaven has a beautiful new voice in its choir!
