He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Elder and Flora Anthony Elder; and his siblings, Betty Jean, Lois, Arthur, Don, Eugene and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Graham; his children, Paula Jones of Florida, Darla Schreve (Glenn) of Corry, Karen Gioeli of Florida, Carl Lee Elder (Cheryl) of Wattsburg, Kevin Elder (Terri) of Wattsburg, Donnie Elder (Tonya) of Erie and John Elder of Erie; his stepdaughters, Tammy Nunemaker of Mill Village and Laurie Rohrer of Clymer; and his siblings, Beverly Elder of East Springfield, Eleanor Yarrington of Burt and Ray Dean Elder (Eydie) of Corry. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
