With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Rugar of Union City, Pennsylvania, born in East Brady, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 19, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Potts and Mildred Potts; her brothers, Ronald Potts and Dean Potts; her son Troy Helgert; and her brother-in-law Lee Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Rugar of Union City; her stepchildren, Todd and Terilyn; and her siblings, Charles Potts (Dorothy Culver) of Union City, Gary Potts (Debi) of Union City, Lois Nelson of Pittsburgh and Connie Lewis (William) of Sandy Lake. She is also survived by five step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
