He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine; his parents, Rulaf Young and Julia Marie Young; his brother Marshal (Ellen Young); and his brother-in-law Norman (Mary Lou Yost).
He is survived by: his son Robert (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Jennifer and Jonathon; his son Douglas; and his nieces and nephews, Bonnie Hall, Becky Van Riper, Blaine Yost, Richard Young (Judy) and Alan Young (Michelle).
