He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence C. Prouty and Bessie L. Knickerbocker Prouty; and his brothers, Herman Prouty and James Prouty. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn F. Tubbs; his son Stephen Prouty (Cheryl) of Cranberry Township; his grandchildren, Morgan Marie Redrup (Cole) and Andrew Stephen Prouty; his siblings, Rev. John Prouty (June) of Ulysses, Lloyd Prouty (Mary) of Ulysses, Betty Decker (James) of West Winfield, NY and Jean Larnerd of Berwick; and his sister-in-law Barbara Prouty of Ulysses.
