She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Nye and Esther Smith Nye; her husband Donald Nelson; her sons, Todd Nelson (Hollie Hall) and Curtis Nelson; her grandsons, Jake Nelson and Sulivan Nelson; her siblings, Sharon VanEtten (Tom), Dennis Nye (Patricia) and Connie Vogt (John); her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Johnston and Anne Nye; and her brothers, Merle Nye, Max Nye (Margo) and Rex Nye.
