He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Robert and Pruella Edith Toombs Dunn; his spouse Honey Rounds Scott; and his siblings, Christine Dunn, Esther Vera Dunn, Carol Marie Tanner Babbitt, Mary Evelyn Gardner and Donald I. Dunn.

He is survived by : his siblings, Larry W. Dunn of Cortland, NY, Robert S. Dunn of Ulysses, Roy J. Dunn (Rhonda) of Groton, NY, Irene Brown of Culpeper, VA and Janet Button; his sister-in-law Marie Dunn of Homer, NY; and his stepchildren, Steven Scott (Peggy) of Wake Forest, NC, Carmen Scott (Janice) of Ulysses, Debra Reicherter of Fuquay Varina, NC, Jeanne Alderson (Todd) of Raleigh, NC and Kimberly Gardner (Jeff) of Winterville, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
