Mathews of Ulysses, Pennsylvania, born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 79. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John J. Shaffer and Dora H. Davis Shaffer; her husband Truman R. Mathews; her children, Rick Mathews (Tracy Gerken), Randy Mathews, Gary Mathews and Robin Louwerse of Genesee; her grandchildren, Brandon, Brittney, Chad, Dakota, Cheyenne, Aaron of Devin, R. J., B. B. and Clint; and her siblings, J. Jones of Mills, Gary J. Shaffer and Paul E. Shaffer. She was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
