He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Clifton Erway and Mary E. Gearhart Erway; his wife Rita Lehman; his daughter Malissa S. Erway; and his siblings, Lawrence C. Erway, Wayne S. Erway and Carol Erway.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Erway (Donald Empson) of Ulysses and Angela Erway (Thomas Colwell) of Bradford; his grandson Bailey; and his brothers, Melvin Erway (Kay) of Ulysses and Gordon Erway (Marylou) of Gold. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
