He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert L. Stowell and Barbara M. Stowell (Huff); and his brother-in-law Thomas Cotter. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn J. Stowell (Readler); his children, Allie L. Stowell, Stephen A. Stowell (Maribel) and Amanda C. King (Eddy); his grandchildren, Caleb, Rylie Olsen, Hunter, Adelaide King and Meybel Schulz; his sister Elbertine "Tiney" Cotter; and his siblings-in-law, John Readler (Jackie) and Carolyn Fisher (Seth).
