Ackerman (Ulster, Pennsylvania), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on October 21, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Ackerman and Bell Ackerman (DeWitt); his daughter Kolleen "Kelly" Ackerman-Hollister; and his brother-in-law William Coolbaugh. He is survived by: his pet Jack; his wife Diane Ackerman; his children, Cindy Ackerman of Elmira, NY, Jim, Sarah Cole of Fuquay-Varina, Danielle and Todd Daniels of Waverly, NY; his grandchildren, Chad Ackerman, Sammi Moffe, Brooke Ackerman, Sarah Hill, Jenna Hollister, Alexis Daniels, Gavin Daniels, Elaina Cole and Carter Cole; his great grandchild Addie Ackerman; his brothers, Ron (Nancy Ackerman), Jim (Judy Coolbaugh) and Frank (Linda Coolbaugh); his sister-in-law Nancy Coolbaugh of Ulster, PA; and his close friends, Steve Bishop, Ray Scrivens, Mike Namet, Henry Meeker, John Wheeler and Jack Shappee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
