He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Elaine Hale Layman (Layman) and H. David "Dave" Layman; and his brother-in-law Joseph Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Susann Hammerly Layman; his daughter Jessica Layman; his grandchildren, Landon, Braydon, Ashton and Zaelynn; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Patricia Layman; his sister Mary Ann Ruth Layman; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Hammerly, Bob, Marlene Hammerly, Jim and Joanne Hammerly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ulster United Methodist Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that contributions be directed to the Ulster United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 105, Ulster, PA 18850 in memory of Harry R. Layman.
