He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Fries and Jane McCracken Fries; and his brother Jay Fries. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Murray Fries; his children, Gerald F. Fries Jr. of Asylum Township and Lisa Fries Cole (Shane) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Spencer Werner of Jamestown, NY, Cody, Nikki Cole of New Mexico, Conrad Cole of New Mexico and Colin Cole of Kansas; his great grandchildren, Easton and Evan Cole; and his sister Ann Fries Allen of Fairport, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
