He was predeceased by: his sons, Daniel Slocum and Guy Slocum; and his siblings, George Slocum, Joyce Nickeson, Marguerite Cook, Marie Gowin, Lois Watrous and Jane Chaffee.
He is survived by: his parents, Evert Slocum and Annabelle Heaverly Slocum; his wife Shirley M. Devine Slocum; his daughter-in-law Kim Slocum of Ulster; his siblings, Evert Slocum of Burlington, John Slocum (Sharon) of Wysox, Joanne Goodstall (Gary) of Socrates, NY, Annabelle Lamb (Roger) of Ulster and Doris Elliott of Sugar Creek; and also, Debra Allen (Emory) of Ulster, Sandra Austin (Bill) of Ulster, Robert Slocum (Dawn) of LaPorte, IN, Joy Myers (Brad) of Towanda and Pamela Tuttle (Randy) of Ulster.
