He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Gibboney and Vesta Gibboney (Noble); his siblings, Majorie Waite, Jane C. Gibboney and Gilbert; and his son-in-law Terry Lindguist.

He is survived by: his wife Flora "Jane" Hamor; his daughters, Hollie Lindquist of Bellefonte and Betsy Stiner (Bill) of Henryville; his grandchildren, Nichole Kutsor, Billy Stiner and Lucas Stiner; and his great grandchild Scarlett J. Stiner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
