Dixon Jr. of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William L. Dixon Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Carole Bishop (Taylor); his wife Brenda Dixon (Replogle); his children, Sage and Taylor Dixon; his sister Carrie Dixon-Cash (Chris); and his parents-in-law, Nancy and Dale Replogle.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the Joe Humphreys Fly Fishing Program at Penn State University.
