It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Gherrity Jr. (Tyrone, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Gherrity and Virginia Gherrity Sr. (Miller); and his wife Virginia Gherrity (Welsh). He is survived by: his sons, Robert J. Gherrity III (Amy) of Tyrone and Michael S. Gherrity (Carol) of Philipsburg; his grandchildren, Andrew Gherrity of Tyrone, Shane Gherrity (Megan) of Dauphin, Nicole Boyer of Tyrone, Robert J. Gherrity IV (Bri) of Hampton, VA and Rebecca Moschella (Matthew) of Altoona; and his great grandchildren, Linae Gherrity, Dereck Boyer, Jackson Boyer, Robert J. Gherrity V, Mira Gherrity, Michael R. Gherrity and Maddison Moschella.
