He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Flaig and Sara Flaig (Rabenstein); and his siblings, Lorraine, Violet, Mary, William and James.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Black; his daughters, Lucinda Frye (Randy) of Williamsburg and Brenda Hawes (T. J.) of Tyrone; and his sisters, Helen Black of Tyrone, Verna Verbonitz of Williamsburg and Ruth Reneker of Williamsburg. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
