He is survived by: his mother Catherine Carte; his children, Calli Cole, Alicia, Brent and Courtney Kurtz; his grandchildren, Emery, Madeline Cole, Caleb, Elayna Gubish and Phoebe Miller; his siblings, Timothy Carte, Ronald Kurtz, Ree Brown, Jacqueline Hamer, Michael Kurtz, Theresa Harper and Tina Dean; and his former wife Dawn Kurtz.
