He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Bridges and Treva Bridges (Hampton); and his siblings, John Bridges, Maxine Settle and Jim Bridges.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Willey; his children, Richard E. Bridges (Michele), Michele Hamer (Ryan) and Dana Lowe (George); his grandchildren, Morgan and Gabriella Bridges; and his child Peyton Hamer.
