He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank I. Rodgers and Grace Dobbs Rodgers; his wife Anna May Lender; his in-laws, Joe and May Dillon; his siblings, Frank, Alan, Charles and Vile Ann Dillon; his siblings-in-law, John Kobuck, Tick Lewis and Alice Rodgers; his son-in-law Thomas Rumberger; and his friend Rebecca Schaul.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Rumberger of Tyrone, Judy Rodgers of Altoona and Ray K. Rodgers of Lexington Park, MD.; his grandchildren, Joann Moist (David), Thomas Rumberger (Danyel), Kevin Rodgers (Jenn) and Jared Rodgers (Leslie); his great grandchildren, Kyle Williams, Sage, Logan Rumberger, Nathan and Jericho Rodgers; his sisters, Alice Kobuck, Donna Lewis and Sandy Nelson (Sherman); and his sister-in-law Darlene Rodgers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
