It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam H. McClain in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Huston and Hazel Huston (Wendt); her husband Richard McClain; and her sisters, Mardell Fisher and Adeline Huston.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Ellen Maxwell (Scott), Mike McClain (Deb), Lynne Starr (Michael) and Andrea Schneck (Frank); her grandchildren, Brian Maxwell (Mira), Heather Tyner, Jonathan McClain (Sabrina), Ashley Benton (Neil), Lindsay Miksich (Steve) and Matthew Schneck; her great grandchildren, Arielle, Anora, Althea, Ricky, Aaron, Kaitlyn, Cassidy and Carter; her cousin Bill Fink; and her niece Karen Gauthier.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Wesley UM Church of Tyrone.
