He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Getz and Helen Getz (Mills); and his siblings, Fred and Mary Jane. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Rudy; his daughters, Patricia Houck (Brian) and Barbara Elder (Chris); his grandsons, Joseph (Emma), Aaron, Matthew (Shannon) and Dustin (Amy); and his sister Susanne Winters. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
