It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael James Boone of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, James Boone and Barbara Boone (Fontanella); his fiancé Kassie Mowry of Dublin, TX; his son Evan Boone of Tyrone; his brothers, Dan Boone (Janice) of Tyrone, Brian Boone (Dana) of South Carolina and John Boone (Linda) of Alexandria; and his nieces and nephews, Jamie Boone-Biondi (Brad), Matt (Emily), Corey, Nicholas, Elli Miles (Clary), Eryn, Adam and Katie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made in Michael's honor to the Mayo Clinic where he recently received successful treatment for prostate cancer.
