Martha Rebecca Burnell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Rebecca Burnell of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, born in Waterville, Maine, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Thomas and Margueritte Holman Powell; and her sister Naomi Sylvester. She is survived by: her children, Randall Burnell (Suzanna) of Tyrone, PA and Bethany Hamer (Robert) of Norway, ME.; her grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Zachary Johnson, William Burnell, Robert Hamer III and Zadie Burnell; her great grandchild Hayli Johnson; and her siblings, Andrew Powell, Sr., John Powell, Sr., David Powell, Timothy Powell, Rachel Greenwald and Lydia Hester. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha's faith and her family were the foundation of her life and she will be warmly remembered for her desire to live out her faith.
