She was predeceased by: her parents, David G. Mengel and Helen Mengel (Diehl); and her siblings, Suzanne L., Andrea L. and Sharon L. Mengel.
She is survived by: her brothers, David C. (Ruth Mora) and Joseph C. Mengel; her brother-in-law George Ritter; her nieces and nephews, Sonja Anderson, Ann Ritter (Leo Korein), Emily Mengel, Jillian Mengel, Madeline Mengel, Neyshmi Mora, Melissa Mora and Nickol Mora (Luke Effler); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Alma, Laurel, Arthur and Gloria.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the local SPCA.
