She was predeceased by: her mother Roxanna Mae Andrick (Zirkle); her husband James P. Hefferan, Jr.; her grandsons, John Brunson and Jim Brunson; her son-in-law Tommy Duke; and her father Johnathan Schmolt.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Dick Gamberg of Redwood City, CA.; and her daughters, Betty M. Brunson (Larry) of North Huntingdon, PA, Patty L. Gamberg (Dick) of Redwood City, CA and Judy L. Duke of Suffolk, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
