He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heckamn and Vera Mae Lewis (Westley); his grandson Jared Lee Mansfield; and his siblings, Joan Isenberg and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Noreen Mansfield of Jacksonville, FL and Terry Paul Lewis of Norfolk, VA; his nephews, Douglas Isenberg (Peggy) of Franklintown, PA and Jeffery Isenberg (Marie) of Danville, PA; his cousins, Evagene Shultz of Tyrone and Cathy Stonebraker of Tyrone; his pet Benny; and his children, Jaffa Shrine and P. O. Box.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Feller Memorial (817 W 15th St, Tyrone, PA 16686). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bald Eagle Cemetery.
John Herbert Lewis, 89, of Tyrone, passed peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease February 16, 2025.
