It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helena Peterson of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaw Herman and Rozalia Herman (Smalcerz); her husband Leonard Paul Peterson; her grandson Lester Peterson Jr.; and her siblings, Woidec, Maria and Stacha.
She is survived by: her children, Lester Peterson (Dorothy) of Johnstown, James Peterson (Bernadette) of Nebraska and Patty Kilmer (Craig) of Tyrone; her granddaughters, Diana and Stephanie; her great grandchildren, Amanda and Mason; her great great grandchildren, Alyssa, Johnathan and Wyatt; and her sisters, Stephanie Bernatzki of France and Sophie Kosmala of France. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
