It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mengel of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Diehl; her husband David Grove Mengel; her daughters, Suzanne L. and Andrea L. Mengel; and her siblings, Jane Corey, Robert, William F., George, Bernard, Joseph and Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon L., Margaret L., David C. (Ruth Mora) and Joseph C. Mengel; her son-in-law George Ritter; her grandchildren, Sonja Anderson, Ann Ritter (Leo Korein), Emily Mengel, Jillian Mengel, Madeline Mengel, Neyshmi Mora, Melissa Mora and Nickol Mora (Luke Effler); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Alma, Laurel, Arthur and Gloria; and her sister Eleanor Miller of Tyrone.
