Francine M. Hughes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francine M. Hughes (Tyrone, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hughes and Eleanor Hughes (Engelman); her grandparents, Adolph, Marie Engelman, German, Frank and Elizabeth Hughes (McNamara) of Chicago; and her uncle Bill Engelman.
She is survived by: her caregiver Frank; her son Colin of Arlington, VA; her siblings, Stephen (Colleen), Nancy Hughes (Tim Rahn) and Christine Bench (Len); her nieces and nephews, Lisa Gabler (Matt), Heather Mesinovic (Damir), Nick Hughes, John Bench (Nicole), Christian Bench (Courtney) and Paul Bench; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Caroline, Sebastian Gabler, Cameron, Noah, Julia Bench and Barron Mesinovic; and her cousin Francine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Feller Memorial (817 W 15th St, Tyrone, PA 16686). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (1105 Cameron Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686).
