She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Bayer and Marjorie Bayer (DeLong); her husband Harold M. "Moose" Beringer; her son Harold "Hank" Beringer; and her siblings, Nancy Wilt, Mary Jane O'Rourke and Joseph Bayer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Lou Beringer, Barbara Hazel Beringer and Colleen Beth Warren; her grandchildren, Patrick Harold Warren and Rachael Marie Shaffer; and her sister Marjorie Barner. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
