She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence L. Nearhoof and Gertie E. Nearhoof (Leister); her husband Richard "Dick" Allen; her sons, Larry and Michael Stroup; and her grandson Christopher Stroup.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Wertz, Buddy Stroup (Barb) of Tyrone and Mitchell Stroup (Valerie) of Mobile, AL; her stepdaughter Vicky Lang (Steve); and her grandchildren, Chad Reese, Jessica Wertz, Travis Stroup, Kristie Smithe, Justin Stoup, Dustin, Mikayla and Michelann Stroup. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
