As Donna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donna leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse B. Banks and Ellen K. Banks (Wicker); and her husband John R. Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Dodie Serafini, Douglas (Shanna), Gary Joe Gordon and Brenda Waite (Harry); and her stepchildren, Deborah Green and John R. Jr.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (1650 Clay Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
