He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude C. Lewis and Edna Lewis Sr. (Laird); and his sisters, Martha DuBree, Dottie Boytim, Ellen Cushion, Arlene Liddick, Janie McClellan and Claudia Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Lewis (Rodgers); his children, Tyke Lewis (Deb), Julie Walk (Warren), David Lewis and Lisa Hartsock; and his brother Carl Lewis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
