He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Boyd and Marie Boyd; his wife Shirley Brower; his sons, David (Becky) and Charles (Dawn) of Tyrone; his grandchildren, Ashley Wright (Josh), Nicole Wetzel (Brad), Storm Boyd and Katelyn Boyd; his great grandchildren, Levi and Lucas; and his sisters, Gloria Estep, Carol Friday, Joyce Ellenberger and Linda Boyd.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. (115 W 10th St, Tyrone, PA 16686). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Baughman Cemetery.
