With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsy Smith (Tyrone, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betsy Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert B. Garman and Ruth Garman (Dimling); her husband William P. Smith; her children, Judge D. Brooks Smith of Altoona and Dr. Virginia Ann Smith of Philadelphia; her sister Ann Condon; her grandsons, Jonathan Woodring and Matthew Rippon; and her great grandchildren, Adrian Christopher Woodring, Sylvia Lee Woodring and Rosalyn Eveland Woodring.
Given the restrictions made necessary by the current pandemic, there will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church in Tyrone.
