He was predeceased by: his close friend Flo "Tootsie" Hovan; his siblings, Richard and Dolores Stafiej; and his nephew Richard Stafiej. He is survived by: his sister Patricia Stafiej (late Jack Hamilton); and his niece Roseann Stafiej (Michael Krauss).
