He is survived by: his parent Eleanor Herron (Hipp); his significant other Dorothy Szurlej; his children, Thomas Herron, Jr. (Michele), Melissa C. Herron, Kristina M. Hunt (Brian), Pap, Kailey, Kristopher, Nicholas and Kate; his stepchildren, Rich Szurlej, Lynn Berkoben and Lisa Szurlej; and his siblings, Kathleen Patelon (Bill), Carol Estes (Guy) and Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
