He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen M. Ruppel (Diggin); his parents, Lawrence Ruppel and Marcella Ruppel (Rowan); and his siblings, Thomas Ruppel (Kathleen) and Ursula Gordon (late Charles).
He is survived by: his children, Larry Ruppel (Lori), Susan Reckitt (Steve) and Mark Ruppel (Megan); his grandchildren, Maggie, Rowan and Riley Ruppel; and his sibling-in-law Pat Bieno. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
