She was predeceased by: her husband John K. Barr; her parents, Theodore Nevling and Ada Matilda Nevling (Hill); her sister June Nevling; and her granddaughter Pamela.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Emerson (Chuck) and Diane Alles (James); her niece Sharon Nevling; her grandchildren, David (Samantha), Rachel, Karen (Rob), Brian, Rebecca (Jeremiah), Michael, Jonathan (Victoria) and Melissa (Dan); and her great grandchildren, Rennie, Yuri, Elliana, Soren, Avacyn, Arie and Joseph.
