He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip S. Reiss and Eleanor Reiss (Menzer); his son Phillip D. Reiss (Carlene); and his grandchildren, Amy Reiss, David Reiss (Leslie Crider) and Edward Reiss.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Reiss (Allen); his grandchildren, Phillip D. Reiss, Jr. (Kristen), Katy Reiss (Carl), Nicola Scuccimarri, Carrie Reiss Erath (Jack), Jessica Crider and Alexa Crider; and his great grandchildren, Lukas, Declan and Fuzzy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
